Enjoying a peaceful location on the banks of Loch Broom, this three bedroom cottage is set on a secluded stretch of the shores of the loch, with wonderful views across the water and to the mountains beyond. Pull on your wellies for a walk along the shoreline spotting otters, seals and, during the summer months, the occasional porpoise. Launch your canoe from the beach in front of the cottage, or keep your feet dry with a hike up the hill behind the cottage for views across Ullapool and the Summer Isles. Visit the outdoor paradise of Ullapool (7miles) for an exhilarating speedboat trip across the waters. Cross the Victorian suspension bridge across Corrieshalloch Gorge (7 miles) and follow the woodland trails to see the River Droma crash through the gorge in a series of stunning cascades. Surrounded by tall trees and fronting onto the shores of Loch Broom, you will be struck by the peace and tranquillity of your rural getaway's location from the moment you step out of your car. Your spacious cottage offers light and airy accommodation over one floor with most rooms enjoying views across the loch and the rugged mountainside of Beinn Dearg. Enter your holiday cottage and step into the cosy living room where you can curl up on the comfy sofas with a good novel from the bookshelf or watch a family film on the TV. On cooler evenings, watch the flames flicker in the wood burner, creating a wonderful atmosphere on chillier nights. An archway leads through to the sunroom where snug chairs are arranged to make the most of the impressive views across the water and beyond. Your contemporary kitchen/diner is a generous room where you can gather around the dining table over a hearty breakfast and make plans for your day. You have everything you need for a home from home stay in the well appointed kitchen including an electric hob and oven, fridge/ freezer, microwave, dishwasher with a fridge, washer/dryer and sink provided in the handy utility room. When it's time for slumber, head down the corridor to the three comfortable bedrooms. A double and two twin bedrooms are dressed in cosy duvets with soft throws and co ordinating cushions, all with ample storage space for your belongings. Before bed enjoy a soak in the bathroom with bath with shower over or freshen up in the shower room, both rooms with WC and underfloor heating. Outside, breakfast on the patio table as the waves lap against the loch and eagles cry overhead or find your favourite spot to sit on the lawn and soak up the mountain air. As the sun sets, light a fire in the stone fire pit and toast marshmallows while you tell campfire tales. Step down to the shoreline and dip your toes for a paddle or enjoy a wild swim in its clear waters. Launch your canoe from the beach or spend the afternoon fishing on the loch. The land surrounding the cottage has woodland perfect for den building and minibeasts walks. There is parking for three cars.
