The Birdhouse is a lovely home away from home set roughly a mile and a half inland from the Northumbrian Coast and the Causeway to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside coastlines in the UK the area is also famed for its wonderous buildings and historic attractions including The Priory and Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island and the iconic Bamburgh Castle. Just a few minutes south of Berwick upon Tweed, the property and location serve well for enjoying days out over the border into Scotland (Edinburgh just over an hour by car or less by train from Berwick, roughly the same times to Newcastle to the south).
The property is set in private gardens enjoying a sunny west facing rear garden, perfect for enjoying a summer evening BBQ. The house is set to sleep five comfortably in the three bedrooms. One double, one twin and one single, all are located on the upper floor. next to the bathroom which is quite special with a rainfall shower head and a double, jack n jill wash basin set. Downstairs in the living room there is a multi-fuel burning stove and Smart TV, just in case you decide that you fancy a day indoors relaxing. The kitchen is excellent for both preparing and enjoying meals at the generous table. A downstairs toilet adds that bit of handiness, especially if one is outside enjoying some sunshine in the garden, which has attractive countryside views.
