Ironbridge is home to many museums and historical places of interests, pubs and shops. A truly interesting day out. Shrewsbury is a little further afield with its abbey, castle and gardens, and the National Trust's Attingham Park, which is well worth a visit. Bridgnorth for further shops and walks along the riverside. The castle walk starts at the top of the Cliff railway, taking you past St. Mary's church and onto the gardens surrounding the castle ruins.
