Craven Arms itself has some amazing and historic houses, including a round house, thought to be a recognisable rest house for pilgrims travelling between Shrewsbury and Wigmore Abbeys. Medieval Ludlow, with nearly 500 listed buildings, Bishops Castle and Knighton, are well worth a visit. Bridgnorth is also worth a visit, a town of two halves connected by a funicular railway. Fishing, horse riding and golf available locally. Easily accessible to the Welsh borders, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Ironbridge World Heritage Site museums and exhibitions approximately 30 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
