Just five miles away is the pretty market town of Ellesmere, which offers Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings, a lovely church and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is surrounded by its famous meres. Twelve miles south of Cockshutt is the county town of Shrewsbury, and there's plenty of other attractions, towns and villages within reach.
Located in Ellesmere, this cottage is in a rural area and on a lake. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Colemere Country Park and The Mere At Ellesmere Country Park, while Wem Town Hall and British Ironwork Centre are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids?
