This property is a converted Forge and enjoys a fantastically secluded rural location in the grounds of the artist owners property in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. The location makes it ideal for those who want to escape the stresses and strains of daily life and decompress on quiet country walks in the surrounding hills or just admiring the birds and wildlife found on your doorstep. Clee Hill is within walking distance of the property, offering breath taking views over the surrounding area or why not explore Mortimer or The Wyre Forest nearby. Just a few miles away, the town of Ludlow, famed for its food festival, is a wonderful place to spend a day browsing the shops, admiring the Georgian architecture (the town has over 500 listed buildings), and sampling the food in the town s many highly regarded restaurants and bistros. Approaching this property along the farm track, gives guests a taste of what is to come: a secluded countryside retreat with a unique charm, where the rural surroundings are made, very much, a part of the overall experience. On entering the property, across the terrace and through the glass double doors, guests come straight to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a light filled space with a stylish minimalist air. The corner sofa makes a great place to relax in front of the TV and cosy wood burner, and enjoy the views out to the paddock, or perhaps catch up on a long awaited book with a glass of wine. The dining table comfortably seats four, whilst the kitchen which runs along one edge of the room, is well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. The bedroom, a double room, is a breath taking sanctuary like space, which, thanks to its huge floor to ceiling windows, creates the sensation that guests are sleeping right under the trees. The shower room, with its walk in shower and WC, also benefits from a tall window, allowing guests to feel that much closer to nature. Outside, the property has a raised decked terrace with garden furniture, providing guests with the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco drinks whilst listening to the breeze in the trees and watching the many fascinating birds and squirrels who come to feed. The owners also have an enclosed paddock next to the property, which contains some of the owner s large sculpture work, which guests are free to use. In addition to this, guests are able to enjoy the surrounding woodlands. There is off road parking provided.
