Located on the edge of Buildwas village, just one and a half miles from the UNESCO world heritage site at Ironbridge, which boasts ten museums, independent shops, pubs and restaurants, not forgetting the world famous Bridge. Fishermen can enjoy the River Severn, only 200 meters away, with day and week permits available in Ironbridge. With the added accolade that Ironbridge has recently been voted 6th in a Which survey for the top 60 UK towns to visit, you can enjoy numerous walks in the Ironbridge Gorge. Also on your doorstep is the Shropshire Hills, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This landscape of rolling hills and river valleys offers even more opportunities for walking, cycling and golf, to mention just a few. Visit museums, galleries and National Trust properties such as Attingham Park, Benthall Hall and Dudmaston or head to the historic towns of Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth or Shrewsbury. There is so much to see and do. Enter via the kitchen, flooded with natural light and views over the top paddock. There is the useful utility with washing machine, fridge/freezer and space to hang up your coats and kick off your boots. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher alongside the thoughtful little extras. Maybe lose yourself in a good book or pop down to the basement games room to test your skills at table football, play darts, watch the TV or stream your favourite music to the sound system. The peaceful double bedroom with en suite wet room with shower and WC is also situated on the lower ground floor. Head back up to the ground floor and then up to the first floor and up the half flight of stairs to the lounge/diner to enjoy your meal and embrace the fabulous views from the dining area. After dinner, relax on the sofa with a warming wood burner effect electric fire should the evenings turn chilly, whilst watching your favourite programme or film on the TV/DVD. Outside there is a private garden and patio with table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or al fresco dining. Listen to birdsong, watch the wildlife and stargaze on a clear night. Walk up to the top paddock and embrace the fabulous views over the rolling Shropshire Hills. There is private parking at the property for two cars and a secure lockable workshop is available if you need to store bicycles, motorcycles, fishing tackle or even kayaks. Please note this lovely wing set over three levels is part of the owners property though total privacy is assured.
