Wrekin Lodge is a fabulous single-storey pod resting in Much Wenlock, Shropshire and boasts superb views over Wenlock. With a hot tub and a peaceful countryside surrounding, the pod is an ideal escape for a couple or solo traveller at any time of year. On arrival at the property, private parking allows you to unload your bags easily as you step into your surprisingly spacious accommodation. Inside, a well-equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, meaning you have all you need to whip up meals to fuel your excursions. From here, the dining areas provide the perfect place to catch up on the day's adventures over a hearty meal. Relax on the sofa to watch your favourite shows on the TV, before climbing up to the mezzanine bedrooms and get some rest ahead of a day of adventures. Wake up with a shower before making your way outside to enjoy a morning coffee with a view. Outside is the real gem of this accommodation; sink into the hot tub and admire your surroundings, or dine alfresco with your other half and toast to an unforgettable trip. Much Wenlock, a beautiful medieval town with traditional shops and a wealth of history, is only a few minutes away by car, bike, or foot. The architecture is varied throughout, and you'll be impressed by the fabulous mix of Georgian, Victorian, and Medieval structures. Visit the ruins of Wenlock Priory, the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, and the National Trust's Benthall Hall, which has a lovely garden and an oak-panelled interior. Climb to the top of one of Shropshire's most famous hills, The Wrekin, and take in the breathtaking views. It's the ideal place to walk on a summer evening as the sun sets and the peace and quiet consume your thoughts as you gaze across green fields. This ancient hilltop fortress is part of one of the best walks in Shropshire, but there are many others to try while you're there. You might want to pay a visit to Church Stretton and walk along the Long Mynd before stopping by the National Trust shop for a cup of tea or a bite to eat at one of the pubs. Shrewsbury, Ludlow, and Kidderminster are also worth a visit for a varied day out. Treat your loved one to a holiday at Wrekin Lodge.
