North Leaze Farmhouse has been lovingly restored throughout, whilst retaining all the splendid character you would expect from a country house. Modern fittings blend seamlessly with the abundance of original features, elevating its unique rural charm to a stunning finish.
On arrival, guests are welcomed via the spacious hallway, central to the house, with a beautiful solid oak refectory table, ideal when the whole family want to gather and while away the evening together playing board games. Just along the hallway is the bright and airy open-plan kitchen and dining area, accessed by internal steps. Here, you will find a well-equipped kitchen perfect for even the keenest of chefs, a sit-up island with bar stools, and an informal dining area with a large table seating 10 guests. There is also a comfortable seating area with a wall-mounted television and large glazed doors that open out onto the rear garden. A useful utility room can be accessed from the kitchen, home to the washing machine, tumble dryer and a Belfast sink. The sitting room has comfortable sofas and a Smart television, making this an ideal space to relax after a day spent exploring Somerset. A small passageway joins the sitting room to the formal dining room, where you will find beautiful wooden panelling and a large dining table, a perfect place for special celebratory dinners, along with french doors leading out to the garden.
North Leaze Farmhouse is perfect for all ages. With a games room including a pool table, a snug area with a television and sumptuous sofa, along with a small selection of books and games. Add to this the separate skittles bar with a full size skittles alley, dart board and table tennis; there is bound to be something for everyone.
Upstairs on the first floor are five spacious bedrooms. The principle bedroom has a king-size bed and a charming window seat where you can relax and enjoy the views over the garden and surrounding fields, as well as an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom five has twin single beds, with the remaining three bedrooms all having king-size beds. The family bathroom has a bath and separate walk-in shower and there is a further family shower room.
The front garden is fully enclosed and has a central lawn, fringed by pretty borders and mature shrubs and trees, ideal for relaxing in with plenty of room for the children to play. There is also a patio area where guests will find plenty of outdoor seating. To the rear of the property is an enclosed courtyard with further outdoor seating and access to the ground level table tennis games area. Above this, accessed by external steps, you will find the "Skittles Bar" which has a unique oak barrel bar area, a full-length skittle alley and dart board.
Off-road parking for up to five cars is available at the rear of the house, and guests can use the old apple shed for secure storage of any bicycles that may be brought along.
