About the property
Sunnydene is elevated from the street by a few steps. There is a private, pretty, and secure courtyard garden and one compact off-road parking space adjacent to the cottage. There is also plenty of on-road parking on Main Road.
It has gas central heating, endless hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom as well as a spacious, light and airy bedroom with solar-powered remote control blackout blinds. The sitting room is very comfortable, cosy and uncluttered, and also has space for two to dine in comfort on the extendable table.
We hope we have provided everything you'll need to feel relaxed and at home, including high end furnishings, linen and kitchen equipment. Light the gas burning stove in the sitting room, snuggle up on the sofa and enjoy the privacy and comfort of your holiday home. Of course, we also have a fast fibre wifi as standard.
We are proud to share Sunnydene and hope you will enjoy it too.
Facilities and Equipment:
Kitchen: Full size oven and 4-burner gas hob; microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetière, all the crockery, cutlery, serving dishes, tools, bowls and linen you could need. We have provided many cooking basics including herbs, spices oil and vinegar, sugar, coffee and tea bags. There are plenty of cloths, washing up liquid, surface cleaning spray and kitchen roll. And, of course, an ice bucket where a bottle of something bubbly can be left to chill for your arrival by separate arrangement.
A small welcome basket is always left for guests along with fresh milk in the fridge. A more extensive welcome pack and custom shopping service are available at extra cost on request: useful for guests who want to settle quickly into their holiday home. For those staying longer, a linen change and cleaning service is also available at an extra cost.
The laundry and cloakroom provide space for your damp clothes and shoes, as well as a washing machine and separate vented tumble dryer, eco-friendly detergent and fabric conditioner.
We have, of course, met all appropriate safety requirements, and the property is fully compliant with alarms, fire extinguishers, fire blankets and a first aid kit.
Finishing touches
Giving some thought to what else might be needed, we have provided hot water bottles, an 'emergency basket' with those "oh no, I forgot my ..........." items, eco-friendly hand soap, a selection of books, magazines, games, DVDs and local guides and maps.
There are indoor throws for snuggling with, and outdoor cushions and blankets for use in the courtyard.
For cyclists, a secure fixing is provided for your bicycles to keep them chained up safely and out of sight, together with some rough towels and cloths for wiping down your bikes and muddy clothes if needed.
Outdoor seating and a table are provided in a secluded, pretty space, ideal for a glass of something at the end of the day, and dining in comfort al-fresco.
Located in Stafford, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Shugborough Hall and Ancient High House are local landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit McArthurGlen Designer Outlet and Cannock Shopping Centre.
