On the outskirts of the town, wildlife enthusiasts are well-catered for with the woodland setting of RSPB Coombes Valley and the family-friendly Peak Wildlife Park, there is also the Beaver Hall Equestrian Centre for those wanting to try their hand at horse riding. Next stop is Buxton where adventurers can explore the depths of the renowned Poole’s Cavern, whilst others can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the Pavillion Gardens in Buxton Park, followed by a tour of the Buxton Museum & Art Gallery or an evening of culture at the Buxton Opera House.
