Deep in the heart of Suffolk, it is uniquely located on a vineyard, next to the owner’s home, and the owner thoughtfully provides a bottle of their own Oak Hill wine or guests’ arrival.

With the main living space on a mezzanine, the property is light and airy with traditional touches throughout including oak beams and the original granary doors. Vineyard Cottage is ideally located to enable guests to explore both coast and country. You are surrounded by wonderful, small market towns and villages including Eye, Diss, Harleston and Bungay. Further east, you will find Southwold on the coast for a real seaside experience, with independent shops and cafés. The Suffolk countryside is a walker’s paradise. The beautiful landscape and many country pubs give ideal respite before discovering another location in this much loved county. The area is also renowned for its medieval churches.

Fressingfield is close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border and the fine city of Norwich is well worth a visit with its castle, cathedral and historical sites, which are excellent.
The village of Fressingfield benefits from two pubs and a well-stocked local shop, both within a short walk. Both pubs serve good food, one having a highly regarded fine dining restaurant and the other noted for its very popular Sunday carvery. The village is one of Suffolk’s most celebrated, and a few years ago was crowned Mid-Suffolk Village of the Year for its picturesque setting and amenities. Beach 19 miles. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
