Both of these can be reached in just a few minutes. There are plenty of amenities nearby including restaurants, convenience stores, shops and more with easy access to Millfield Metro Station. Equidistant to both the city centre and A19, High Barnes offers the best of both worlds with all the attractions of a major city close at hand. There are many local amenities including, Barnes Park, local shopping facilities on Chester Road and lovely walks into the city centre or across the countryside to Penshaw Monument and Herrington Country Park; a perfect place to have an afternoon stroll, or an early morning run!
