A beautifully furnished modern apartment, Avonbank sleeps 6, based in the centre of Stratford Upon Avon the apartment is wonderfully placed to enjoy the town and the River Avon. With 3 bedrooms the apartment can accommodate family groups easily whilst offering space for the whole party to enjoy, and has views over the River Avon from the lovely juliet balcony in the sitting room. The sitting room itself has plenty of space for everyone to spend well deserved time relaxing and has a dining table for evening meals enjoyed as a group and a well- equipped kitchen in which to cook. Based on the canal tow-path between you can also watch the canal boats pass each day and enjoy walks along the River Avon.
There’s so much to enjoy within walking distance of the apartment, Stratford Upon Avon is famed for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare and so a visit to the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre is a must and only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The town itself is a hub of culture with various smaller theatres, music venues and museums which reflect the Tudor architecture you can whilst enjoying a walking tour of Stratford itself.
If literature is not your passion Stratford Upon Avon has much more to offer, you can hire a rowing boat by the hour and enjoy the river at your own pace. The restaurants and alfresco cafes of Henley and Sheep Street are all within walking distance and each year Stratford Upon Avon hosts a Beer and Cider Festival.
If you want to explore further afield Birmingham is only 22 miles away and the delights of the Cotswold are not far with Chipping Campden being the nearest notable place to visit and only 10 miles away.
