Spacious family home with large garden only a minutes walk to the beach in Bracklesham bay. Bracklesham is known for fossil hunting, surfing and windsurfing and near enough to enjoy Goodwood events. 6 bedrooms with 3 double beds (2 ensuite), 2 singles and a kids bunk bed. There is a big open plan sitting/dining/kitchen with double bi-folds opening out onto the patio & big garden with large gas BBQ, covered outside area & trampoline.
Our house is on the beach road and we are just one house back from the beach. In order to get to the beach you need to cross a very quiet straight road, walk past a couple of houses and down a little path and you’re on the beach!
A bit about our house;
Upstairs we have one super king with en-suite bathroom WC/shower, family bathroom with bath/WC. Three kids rooms, two with standard sized single beds, one kids room with small kids sized bunk beds (Each bunk mattress is 160cm long/just under 5”5).
Downstairs there’s a big hallway with coat and shoe rack, a queen sized double with bathroom next door (shower room/WC), this bathroom is used as the downstairs WC. To the right is a self enclosed studio which has a double door which dulls noise and can be locked for privacy. It’s a big room (30m2) which has sink, sitting room area and small dining area & TV and separate entrance and decking area. This has a large separate en-suite bathroom with bath/shower and WC.
Back into the hallway, walking through glass doors there’s the main open plan room which has kitchen /dining and sitting room areas with TV.
The house also has a separate utility room with washing machine and dryer, a large parking area, 4 bathrooms in total. There is outside seating for dining, large gas BBQ, big trampoline and also a separate outside comfortable sofa seating area. There is also a covered outside area with stove, TV/WiFi and seating area at the back of the garden.
Bracklesham is on a peninsula next to east and west wittering and down the road from itchenor, earnley and Sidlesham. The area is well known for its beaches where surfers, windsurfers and swimmers gather and also for its sailing from one of the harbours or sailing clubs around. Bracklesham bay has a cafe/restaurant, a coffee shop, a small shop and a couple of takeaways. East wittering village is a great holiday village with a couple of restaurants, a pub, lots of little shops, a couple of cafes and an old fashioned sweet shop. Goodwood race course where they hold multiple horse racing events, goodwood festival of Speed, revival and also DJ nights is only 25 minutes drive.
Dogs
We welcome small to medium sized housetrained and well behaved dogs for an additional £35 per dog for the stay. Dogs are strictly not allowed on furniture, bedding or soft furnishings nor allowed upstairs or in the downstairs bedroom with carpet. There is a utility room where dogs can sleep or the double room downstairs has a wooden floor so a dog bed can be used in that room.
