Situated on the sought-after Elmer Sands Private Estate in the beautiful coast of West Sussex, Three Decks is an iconic art deco style detached property. Dating back to the 1930s, it is understood to have been built for a sea captain, hence its ocean liner shape. Spread across three floors, Three Decks provides sleeping for up to eight people, private parking for three cars, a beautiful enclosed rear garden, and balconies on both second and top floors.
On the ground floor is the dining/living room overlooking the garden, a fully fitted kitchen, plus a double bedroom with en-suite facilities. On the first floor are three further bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with shower over bath. The main living room is ideally located on the top floor with stunning 360-degree views from the balconies. There are fantastic sea views across the rock islands towards the Isle of Wight to the west and towards Beachy Head to the east.
The beach at Elmer Sands is dog friendly all year long, and as the tide goes out the sand flattens into compact sand. At low tide, the water is shallow, providing ideal conditions for swimming and beginner’s water sports. This is a perfect family beach for all ages. A few pubs, restaurants, and village shops can be found in the nearby villages of Elmer and Middleton-on-Sea. Just a short drive away are the nearby towns of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, which offer even more choice.
Discover an area steeped in history by visiting Chichester’s 12th-century cathedral. It is a cosmopolitan vibrant and friendly city proudly combining two thousand years of heritage with a lively lifestyle. Enjoy Arundel’s historic castle and Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Fontwell Park Racecourse and, of course, the world-famous Goodwood Estate, which holds the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. Alternatively, you can take the train from Bognor Regis to Brighton. The Isle of Wight is another excellent day trip destination. Visit Portsmouth and its historic dockyard, admire Spinnaker Tower, historic ships, and enjoy waterside dining and shopping at Gunwharf Quays. This is a great holiday destination.
