The Space:
Here’s your chance to stay in a well presented detached house with a large garden 150 yards from the sea. The relaxation starts as soon as you arrive, with parking spaces for 2 to 3 cars right outside the rear of the property, so you won’t have far to carry your bags as you excitedly hurry inside to take your first look at your new home-from-home.
And, uniquely, you enter through the French doors in the garden into a beautifully presented house that’s designed to impress and has room for up to 8 guests to sleep.
Staying here gives you the chance to experience the best of open plan living just minutes from the beach. The lounge, dining room, and kitchen share the same space, offering all guests a chance to spend time together in private, homely surroundings. There’s also a separate sitting room downstairs, a great place to relax with a book, enjoy a quiet chat, or maybe to watch TV.
The dining table in the open plan living space has seating for up to 8 guests, ideal if you’re planning a sit-down meal to celebrate a special occasion. Or you can use the table for less formal meals, or even card and board games.
You can create the tasty meals you’ll all enjoy at the dining table in the home’s modern kitchen. You’ll find high quality appliances and all the plates, utensils, and cutlery a group of up to 8 is likely to need. And there’s a dishwasher, so no one need waste any of their time washing-up!
Also on the ground floor, two twin bedrooms, one with an ensuite. And the family bathroom, featuring a tub with shower over is down here too. So the house is ideal for anyone who doesn’t like stairs as there’s easy access to everything!
Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room. The other is another tastefully decorated room with twin beds, ideal for children.
Staying here also gives you the bonus of private outside space, with a large patio area featuring a table and chairs, leading onto a grassy garden. Be sure to spend time out here enjoying some peace and quiet, or maybe catching some rays on the sun loungers.

The Neighborhood:
A beautiful house just one minute’s walk (150 yards) from the beach. That’s what you get when you book to stay here. Even though the postal address of the property is West Wittering, it’s actually in the village of East Wittering, about a mile and a half from the sandy beach at West Wittering. You can take part in all kinds of activities including sailing, paddle-boarding, and kite surfing at both East and West Wittering, so take your pick!
If activities aren’t your thing you can always choose to sit, relax and enjoy the views. The house is also only 5 mins walk from the shops, so stocking up the cupboards and fridge/freezer in the kitchen is hassle-free. If you’re planning to explore the local area during your stay, you’ll no doubt do your research on what’s available in the area before getting here. For the record, all the following can be easily reached from the house:
Chichester City Centre - for more shops and all kinds of entertainment including swimming pools, tenpin bowling, trampolining, and parks.
Golf courses - play a round or two at one of several clubs in the area
Sailing clubs - it makes sense to take to the sea as you’ll be living so close to it!
The South Downs - great for refreshing walks with amazing scenery
Goodwood – a picturesque location for regular horse racing meetings from May to October, and also the venue for the world-famous Festival Of Speed.
Eating out - if you fancy trying local restaurants during your stay, your hosts will give you a few recommendations in their welcome brochure, including great fish and chips just 2 mins from the house!
GETTING AROUND
With 3 free parking spaces at the back of the house, driving here is a good option. But if you don’t want to bring a car, there’s a bus stop just a 5 minute walk away with services that connect with both East and West Wittering. And train services directly connect London and Gatwick Airport to Chichester, from which you can catch a cab to the house which is about 6 miles from the train station
This vacation home is located in Chichester. Chichester Market Cross and Chichester Cathedral are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Chichester Harbour and Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve.
