Nestled in the heart of Lightcliffe, recently made famous by the popular TV show 'Gentleman Jack'. The cottage is ideally situated to explore the history behind the series, situated just down the lane from the graveyard where many of the shows favourite characters are buried. Visit the stunning Shibden Hall, home to Anne Lister, a great day out for all of the family. The local village pub is only a short walk away and, for keen golfers, there are two popular golf courses within easy reach. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists off all abilities, with many beautiful tracks and trails straight from the doorstep. For those wanting to venture further afield, the wonderful scenery of the Peak District is only a short drive away, as is the village of Holmfirth with a wealth of cafes and restaurants to explore. For a spot of retail therapy, head to the vibrant cities of Leeds or Manchester, both within easy reach. On entering this charming cottage, you are greeted by an open plan kitchen/diner. In keeping with the traditional farmhouse style, it is the perfect space to whip up a home cooked meal or sit at the dining table and enjoy a glass of wine with loved ones. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and there is also a separate WC. Moving through to the beautiful lounge with double doors opening up onto the patio area that floods the room with light. This really is the hub of the house and the ideal place to socialise or watch a movie on the Smart TV/DVD with a basic Sky TV package. Upstairs you will find a king size bedroom with stunning original beams and a bunk bedroom. To complete the property is a bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC.
