This thatched cottage is located in a charming area that remains peaceful and unspoilt and is bordered by the River Avon. 3 miles north is the city of Salisbury with a beautiful cathedral and a wide range of shops and restaurants. Within 11 miles is the World Heritage site of Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Cranborne Chase (AONB) and The New Forest National Park which leads to the coast. All of these offer an abundance of wonderful walking routes to explore. Head 10 miles east and meander through the beautiful rose garden at Mottisfont. Go south to visit Lymington, Burley or Beaulieu Motor Museum and Palace House, all within 20 miles. A path leads to the front door. Once inside there are hooks for your coats and you enter into a charming sitting room. This cosy and characterful room has an open fire and TV, plus four comfortable chairs making it the ideal place in which to relax after a day of exploring. The contemporary kitchen leads off from the sitting room. The kitchen has underfloor heating and a good sized table with seating for four guests. This inviting space cleverly blends traditional charm with contemporary comforts. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a utility room and a stylish walk in shower room. A cottage style staircase leads to the first floor from the sitting room. At the top of the landing to the left and right are two bedrooms with beamed walls, both have been beautifully decorated and furnished with care. A stable door in the kitchen leads out to the idyllic cottage garden. There is a garden table and chairs for use during your stay. The paved area outside the kitchen has three steps leading up to the lawn with shrub borders. The garden which is fully fenced backs onto woodland with the River Avon beyond.
