Alternatively, Hereford and Worcester with stunning cathedrals and riverside walks are both within easy reach. Not forgetting the smaller market towns of Ledbury, Leominster and Ludlow offering an eclectic range of boutiques cafes and weekly farmers markets. The National Trust also plays a big part within the area with an enviable number of properties and gardens all easily accessible. Take some time to enjoy the grounds of the estate before you step inside the chapel, you ll need to mind your head as you step through the original monks entrance into the chapel, which is now a lounge area and full of original features to include stone mullion windows that frame the views onto the grounds, exposed stone and beams. There are two stylish sofas with TV which are perfect for a cosy evening in. A small staircase will take you down to the kitchen, a well equipped space with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. In the dining area a table just perfect for two is set to the side. Then, when the day is done climb the wooden stairs where you will find a king size zip and link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin (with 2' 6" single beds) set within the original cruck frame and an en suite shower and WC. Step outside and enjoy a morning coffee, a small patio with table and chairs offers the perfect view across the lake. Also there is a summer house by the lake with a fitted kitchen which is shared between the two other properties. You are free to roam the many acres and ancient woodland. There is off road parking for two cars. You can also book property codes 75601 and 75602 to sleep 20 guests for family gatherings.
