Once serving the hamlet of Coombe Green, The Old Post Office enjoys a fabulous position set amongst common land, where the sheep graze freely in the rural setting between Malvern and Ledbury in Worcestershire. This is an ideal, detached cottage for those wanting to explore the area on foot. There are many super walks on offer over the surrounding common land and across Castlemorton Common. There are also walks directly to Malvern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Old Post Office has been renovated to make delightful and comfortable accommodation, but has still kept some of its original charm. With an open fire to cosy in front of after a day on the hills, and a fantastic large garden which covers a 1/3 of an acre, this is the perfect place for family and friends to stay all year round.
The village of Welland, which is well served with a pub, post office, village shop and church, is just over 2 miles away. Larger and more extensive facilities can be found in the spa town of Malvern, 9¼ miles away, where there are pubs, restaurants, shops and a theatre which is famous for its festivals. The market town of Ledbury, is known for its poetry and culture, and access to the black and white trail of the nearby villages. The riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn has many festivals during the year including jazz, folk and blues festivals, and boasts attractive shops and delightful inns, and is just over 6 miles away. The Three Counties Showground which hosts many shows including the RHS Spring and Autumn shows and the Royal Three Counties show is 5 miles away. A little further afield are the cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
