A superbly presented semi-detached cottage located on Ankerdine Hill, in the Teme Valley, which is on the edge of the village of Knightwick, on the border between Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The cottage offers four bedrooms with the master bedroom having an en-suite shower room. Downstairs, an entrance porch offers the perfect place to store boots after walking. The large, well-equipped kitchen and dining area features a range cooker and lovely exposed beams. This leads to a dining room with French doors to the front deck area. Rest in the comfortable sitting room in front of the woodburning stove or on warmer evenings throw open the French doors and sit outside on the deck area. The south-westerly facing garden and decked area, take advantage of the summer sun all day long, where guests can sit back, relax and admire the stunning rural views and then later in the evening marvel at the amazing sunsets. There are lots of different seating areas to enjoy the views, why not sit back in the swinging hammock chair looking across the open fields to Whitbourne, or on a chillier evening enjoy a glass of wine in the lovely summerhouse. The small village of Knightwick, offers a 15th century inn and brewery or alternatively guests could visit the local butchers and cook at the cottage. Fabulous walks are available right on the guests doorstep, as the property is nestled in the Teme Valley, with the Worcester Way running past the cottage. Bromyard Downs and Bringsty Common are a five minute drive away and of course the Malvern Hills are but twenty minutes drive by car. Just a short distance from Knightwick is Brockhampton Estate, a beautiful 15th century manor house and traditional farm owned by the National Trust. Other National Trust properties in the surrounding area are Croome Court, Hanbury Hall and Grey Friars House. Just a short drive away is the cathedral city of Worcester with all the well-known high street stores, lots of restaurants and bars by the river, and in December enjoy the traditional Victorian Christmas market.
