The property has ample communal space. Guests can relax and unwind in front of the log burner, on the mezzanine, in the snug, around the fire pit or on the large patio.
Conveniently located on the outskirts of Colwall village, enjoy excellent amenities, the hills with its many walks and cycle routes on your doorstep.
Access to the property through gates, set back from the road, that open onto a large, secure driveway, with parking space for several cars.
Enter the house through a wide, solid oak door into a spacious hallway.
Open Plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Space:
From the hallway you enter a large, and rather breathtaking open plan kitchen/dining/living space, where you will find your luxury hamper waiting for you on arrival.
Dining area - situated at the heart of the house the dining area is the first area you enter from the hallway. It features a large dining table and baby grand piano. Along the wall there is a large wall cabinet with sliding doors that contains a well appointed library, comprising of both adult and children's books, board games, toys, stereo system and larger kitchen appliances.
Kitchen - beyond the dining area, the modern, minimalist kitchen has ample storage and features slick white cabinets and a beautiful Corian work surface. There is a convection hob, double oven, American style fridge freezer and pull out pantry. It's large island has a seating area for two stools, double sink and conceals a dishwasher and bins.
The kitchen is well appointed, offering a home-away-from-home experience. Appliances include a kettle, 4-slice toaster, food processor, juicer, cafetiere and slow cooker.
In the the far corner of the kitchen, doors lead out onto the large patio area. There is also is a window seat, where you can lie and gaze up at the mature oak trees. Stunning all year round, most especially during Autumn.
Living Area - the living area features a double height, oak gable end which has a large log burner at it's centre piece and large windows looking out to panoramic views of the hills.
Furnishings include several sofas, a coffee table and a smart TV. Two sliding doors lead out onto the patio area.
Snug/playroom:
A large, separate ground floor room with double aspect views into the garden. Here you can take some time away from the main living space to chill out and read or watch the SMART TV . It's also a great games room, where you can play table football or on the Xbox. There are a selection of DVDs and computer games for you to use.
Garden:
The expansive garden is surrounded by mature hedgerow and set in over half an acre of land. A stone patio wraps around the house, with a large patio area meeting the open plan living space. This features a 10-seater outdoor dining suite and barbecue.
Another more secluded patio area features a table and two chairs.
There are two mature oak trees in the garden - beautiful throughout the year and also a wonderful source of cool and shade in the warmer Summer months.
For those staying with children, there is a large lawn, trampoline, football goal, tyre swing and garden toys to keep them entertained and help them burn off some energy. Little ones can even search for the pixie house door perched up in one of the old trees, waiting to be found!
A garden pond is surrounded by daffodils in the early spring, and then full of beautiful irises from May.
Bedroom 1 - The Master Suite:
Upstairs, the private master suite features a super king bed and a sumptuous dark blue and dusty pink decor. Furnishings includes a small double sofa bed (suitable for 2 small children, or one larger child) chest of drawers and smart TV. There is also a dressing area with two mirrored wardrobes and an occasional chair.
It's ensuite bathroom features an egg shaped bath, spacious shower, double sink, loo and underfloor heating.
Open double doors onto a private mezzanine with with a quaint English cricket pitch in the foreground and uninterrupted views of the Malvern Hills beyond. The mezzanine is furnished with a sitting area and work space.
Bedroom =2 - The Grey Room:
The Grey Room is a relaxing space located on the ground floor. It features a king size bed, antique pine wardrobe, occasional chair and has an ensuite shower room featuring a large, walk in shower, sink, loo and underfloor heating.
Bedroom 3 - The Oriental Room:
A kingsize bedroom room with fitted wardrobes and stunning views into the garden and the hills beyond.
Bedroom 4 - The Twin Room:
The ground floor twin room features a small double bed (suitable for 1 adult or two children), single bed, two small chest of drawers, full length mirror and clothes hooks.
Family Bathroom:
Located next to the Snug and Twin Room, the family bathroom feature a sink unit, bath, underfloor heating and loo.
Cloak/Boot/Utility Room:
Immediately next to the front door is a cloak/boot/utility room. There's ample space to hang up coats, store shoes, and dry wellies after a good walk.
This area has a large Belfast sink, 8kg washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board, mop and bucket.
In the cupboards you will find a first aid kit, as well as other handy household items you may need on your stay.
Understairs cupboard:
Useful storage area where you'll find the vacuum cleaner, fire gate, high chair and clothes horse.
Environmentally Friendly:
We like to do our bit for the environment. The toiletries we provide during your stay are derived from natural products (we use the gorgeous Faith in Nature Lavender & Geranium range). These are dispensed in refillable bottles to minimise our plastic waste.
Our logs and sourced locally to minimise our carbon footprint. So too are many of our luxury hamper items.
We also use surface cleaners and weed killers that are derived from natural products.
