The village is split into two halves, upper and lower Llangynidr, and there is easy access over the dramatic Mynydd Llangynidr Mountain, to The Heads of The Valley Road and The Welsh Valleys. The national park is packed with activities to suit all moods, from gentle strolls and cycles to hardier mountain climbs. Pen y Fan (17 miles) is the highest peak in South Wales and can be combined with its neighbouring peaks of Corn Ddu and Cribyn to make a longer walk. The picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal has an easy canal bank walk with the option to hire a boat if the mood takes you. A warm welcome awaits in this light and airy home. The sitting room has a homely feel with comfortable sofas to curl up on while the cosy wood burner warms your toes on chillier evenings. Make your way through the lounge and take a step down in to the stylish kitchen, a bright space for cooking up a delicious meal or snack, and has an electric cooker and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, along with a dining table and chairs. There is also a handy utility room with a back door and a washing machine. Stairs lead up from the lounge to the first floor where the bedroom has a French style single bed. The delightful king size master bedroom is accessed by walking through this room and features a dressing table, wardrobe and bedside lamps. The bathroom is also located on this level, take a step down in to the bathroom which features a walk in shower with both and overhead and hand held shower and WC. Outside the property there is an allocated parking space for one car, while there is on road parking around the corner as well.
