Whether you re a busy couple looking to explore the many cycling trails in the area, or simply looking to relax in a country pub, the cottage is ideally placed. Local pubs are plentiful, the closest a mile away and several others within 3 miles too. It s 2.5 miles to Llangorse, which has two riding schools and an excellent activity centre with climbing walls and high rope courses inside. It s 5 miles to shops and restaurants in Brecon and about 7 miles to the start of popular routes up Pen y Fan. Enter the house from the private drive within the grounds of the owners home. The open plan downstairs has a bright airy feel and great views through the French doors to the garden. Relax in the elegant armchairs or on the sofa, where a wood burner will warm you on chilly evenings and there s a TV for lazy nights in. The well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker with induction hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, a washing machine and a stylish Belfast sink, as well as a rustic table to eat at. The shower room downstairs also has a stylish finish with an antique dresser and terracotta tiles. Enjoy the last of the evening sun with an after dinner coffee outside before heading upstairs to the king size bedroom. Nestled in the eaves, the spacious room is flooded with light from both low level windows and a door that opens onto a balcony. Sit back with a morning coffee or an evening drink in this very lovely private spot overlooking the leafy garden. The pretty garden has an unusual layout, wrapping itself around the house from the French doors downstairs up and around to the opposite side of the house. Edged with mature trees and shrubs, there are steps leading from the highest point down to the driveway, and two differently located benches to make the most of the sunshine.
