Hardy's Bay can be found 0.5 miles down the hill from the property and Ogmore, a sand and shingle beach, is just 1 mile. Take an organised horse ride along the sand dunes, rivers and the open common with the Ogmore Riding Centre or enjoy a leisurely round of golf at the Southerndown Golf Club. Surfers can enjoy a pretty consistent surf at the nearby Dunraven Bay (2 miles) and for those who wish to stay dry, make sure you visit the remains of the castle and gardens. This property has been designed to be as eco conscious as possible with a green roof and solar panels. Step through the bi folding glass doors onto the dark floors and into a lovely open plan studio setting, comprising of a lounge area, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and a two ring electric hob, a microwave and a fridge with a small freezer compartment, providing everything you need to rustle up a good meal. After a fun packed day of adventures, you can sit back and relax on the gorgeous soft grey Chesterfield sofa in front of the Smart TV and enjoy your favourite TV shows. The modern country style dining table with benches also doubles as a great space to get competitive with a game of cards or scrabble, and enjoy listening to your favourite tracks on the Bluetooth table speaker. Stepping through into the back of the property you'll find a comfortable double bed with side tables, under bed storage and hooks to hang your items. On a clear night, you can just lay back, relax and enjoy stargazing through the skylight. At the very rear of the property is a gorgeous statement green shower room with a large double headed shower and WC. At the front of the property is a patio area and bistro set, a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and soak up the sea air. Wall racks are available for storing two surfboards and safe bicycle storage can be arranged upon request. There is parking available for one car.
