The houses and hotels drop away as you approach this secluded destination and arrive at this lovely little house that sits proudly on the slopes down to the glistening loch. It's the perfect escape from busy day to day life and many guests fall in love with the spot, returning again and again. There are boundless walks from the door, whether you wander down to the loch shore, about half a mile away, or set off exploring across the fields and quiet lanes. Stock up on supplies at the shop 2.5 miles away or visit some of the many popular local restaurants with more beautiful loch views. Once a traditional croft, the house has been thoughtfully designed to maximise the space inside, especially in the galley kitchen where there is a washing machine, a dishwasher, an electric oven and a microwave, as well as enough counter tops for prepping and spreading out maps or leaflets to plan the next day's adventure. The open plan living space includes a sunny dining area and a cosy lounge with a wood burner and plenty of comfy seating. Perhaps the crowning glory is the conservatory where the panoramic views and glorious sunsets over the loch will take your breath away. Here you can sit back in the restful pine clad sunroom and enjoy lunch at the table or relax on the sofa and watch the wildlife all around. Upstairs, kids will love the twin room with purpose built beds under the eaves, and the double bedroom is equally welcoming. The enclosed garden is perfect for letting children or furry friends run free, and as the sun goes down and the dark unpolluted skies begin their light show, there's a telescope to enjoy a spot of star gazing too.
