For the more adventurous, Knapdale Forest is just six miles away and is known for its panoramic views and wildlife as well plenty of trails to explore. There is plenty of history in this area and you can visit Kilmartin House Museum or search for scenery covered relics of prehistoric Scotland, such as stone circles, chambered cairns and sculptured stones. After enjoying all of the area s offerings you can make your way back to the property and enjoy the views over the open countryside and Kilmartin Glen. After entering the property, you will be welcomed into the beautifully presented lounge with its large bay window and cosy wood burner. There is also a small Freeview TV, DVD and Hi Fi which makes this a great room to unwind in after exploring the local area. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen also houses a woodburner and the dining table making it the hub of the house. The utility area is on the ground floor and benefits from a double sized shower enclosure, washbasin and WC. Once the night has drawn in, the stairs lead you to the bedrooms. The first a splendid double bedroom with a four poster bed and the second is a spacious twin bedroom. The main bathroom is also located on the first floor and is equipped with a bath with shower attachment, WC and two handbasins. Heading outside, there is a large, south facing and private garden which is well maintained and has the welcome addition of garden furniture and BBQ, making alfresco dining a must!
