Summary:
A quaint cottage ideally located in an enviable location just on the door step of Parker's Piece, in a recognizable & historical location in the city centre. We offer free parking for one car just about 5 minutes drive away from the property. Please be aware that the property's back is onto a pub garden and therefore it can be a bit noisy at night at the weekends. A member of the House of Luchini will always be available to answer queries and help. Booking with us gives you access to discounts and/or freebies at local cafés and attraction!
The Space:
A warm and cosy cottage that has been recently renovated. The central heating is controlled by a portable thermostat so you can adjust the temperature to suit your needs.
The entrance vestibule leads directly into the sitting room where there are wooden floor and a steep staircase off to the first floor. Through the sitting room there is a separate kitchen/breakfast room fitted with modern units and appliances. The big kitchen window overlooks the rear of the property. A rear lobby has a cloakroom and an external access door to the courtyard, ideal for late summer evening drinks. A staircase from the sitting room leads to the 1st floor where there are two double bedrooms and a modern family bathroom.
The Neighborhood:
The property is adjacent Regent Street and in close proximity to Gonville Place, on a 'no through road'. It is in walking distance of the train station and City centre with a variety of Restaurants and bars along Regent Street. Mill Road is only a 5 minutes walk away with many independent shops and Restaurants to satisfy everyone's taste.
Property backs onto a pub garden and therefore it can be a little noisy at the weekends
Getting Around:
The property is right in the City centre so we recommend walking around or if you want to feel like a true 'Cantabrigian', hiring a bicycle.
Other Things to Note:
For stays over 10 days, you are expected to have interim cleans/linen change (frequency to be agreed depending on length of stay) for an extra fee. This will have to be agreed in writing via messages before your check-in date. Should you decline this offer, at your check out date, if our clean team will have to spend longer than their contracted hours to bring the property back to its original condition, you will be liable for the additional charges.
