Located in the picturesque village of Water Newton, on the banks of the River Nene, are these two beautifully furnished cottages, Barley Cottage (ref UKC315) and Yew Tree Cottage (ref UKC316), and the first floor apartment, Coach Cottage (ref UKC1172), dating back to 1805, set on the borders of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. The owners live adjacent to the properties and are sure to offer the warmest of welcomes. Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway, or a base to explore the many areas and attractions this location offers, this is an ideal retreat for all. There is so much to do, with fishing from the owners’ shared garden onto the River Nene, rambling through the vast area of local countryside or water sports at nearby Rutland Water and Ferry Meadows. Cycling, horse riding and golf are also available close by. Nene Valley Steam Railway is located 3 miles from the properties, Burghley House is 10 miles, East of England Showground, and the towns of Peterborough, Stamford, Oundle, Fotheringhay and Uppingham are all a short drive away. Sacrewell Farm Park is close by and is fantastic for both children and adults. It has many attractions including its majestic Shire horses and Hamerton Zoo Park. Shop 2½ miles, pub 2 miles and restaurant 1¼ miles.
