If you’re looking for the perfect cosy and romantic getaway, then look no further. Located on a family farm/smallholding in Carmarthen, Wales, this self-catering barn conversion is the perfect escape, ideal for those who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Cynwyl Elfed is a small picturesque town located in the county of Carmarthenshire and situated in a rural area surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. It's known for its scenic beauty, peaceful atmosphere and is steeped in history, with one of it's most notable landmarks being the 12th Century church. Newcastle Emlyn (5 miles) has shops, a small supermarket, pubs, fish & chips, chemists and much more. There are some lovely beaches within a 13 mile scenic drive - Aberporth, Cardigan, Poppit sands, to name few and Tresaith which has a waterfall right on the beach! Just 3 miles away is the Carmarthen Golf Club, with outstanding views of the surrounding Welsh mountains and countryside. Further afield are many other wonderful places to visit, including Cardigan Castle (16 miles) St Davids Cathedral (45 miles) or catch the ferry across to Caldey Island from Tenby (32 miles) and enjoy a day exploring this fascinating island full of history and wonderful sea views.
Upon entrance to the warm welcoming apartment, you enter straight in to the hallway, where you can hang up your coats and kick off your shoes at the end of a busy day, or dry off the dog after a lovely countryside walk. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room has a comfortable corner sofa that surrounds the Smart TV, perfect for a film night, or even a night of playing board games. The kitchen space has everything you could need to self-cater, where you can either sit at the breakfast bar at the coffee bar, or relax with your dinner at the dining table. Through from the kitchen completing the property is the gorgeous spacious double bedroom, which benefits from a lovely ensuite shower room with walk in shower, sink and WC.
Outside is a beautiful, spacious, secluded, secure courtyard area with a raised decked dining/seating area. Perfect for a morning cup of coffee and croissant, or summer evening meal al fresco with a glass of wine, enjoying the peace and quiet of the rural countryside.
Although this property is located on a family farm/smallholding, on one side of the cottage there is frosted glass, the frosted windows provide the utmost privacy for guests, and makes you feel like you’re in your own little slice of heaven
Please note, low beam leading in to kitchen, please mind you head, and please be aware of the small step leading in to the bedroom.
