The Shippon is a contemporary, semi-detached cottage resting in the Cheshire village of Helsby, enjoying a scenic location with open fields and countryside whilst within easy reach of Chester and Ellesmere Port. Gather family and friends to enjoy this wonderful property, offering stylish interior and superb amenities including a private hot tub. Providing a warm and welcoming feeling, the open-plan living space is finished with travertine flooring and underfloor heating; take a seat at the centre island and whilst the chef gets acquainted with the mods and cons of the kitchen, including an AGA range cooker, fridge/freezer, wine cooler and dishwasher. Serve a delicious feast at the dining table, gathering with your nearest and dearest to toast to a wonderful getaway, all while the woodburner provides a gentle warmth to the room. When the weather is in your favour, throw open the patio doors to bring the outside in, providing seamless access to the private patio and shared lawn. Enjoy alfresco meals at the outdoor dining area before savouring a dip in the hot tub, offering the ultimate form of relaxation after a day of rambles. There is even an outdoor play area for the children to enjoy, as well as off-road parking for two cars. If you fancy a cosy night in, head upstairs to the mezzanine sitting area and sink into the chesterfield sofa, flicking on the Smart TV and browsing through Netflix. There are four bedrooms at The Shippon, including two ground-floor king-size rooms with en-suite facilities and two single rooms leading off the sitting area, providing suitable accommodation for families. The rural village of Helsby provides the basic amenities for holidaymakers, including a supermarket just over half a mile away, and a pub, The Hornsmill, sitting opposite the cottage.
