Moorsholm is located inland amongst dramatic countryside between the seaside resorts of Whitby and Saltburn. With the North York Moors on the doorstep, it is an ideal base for walkers and cyclers to explore the quaint moorland villages within the national park. The pretty little fishing village of Staithes is just 10 miles away. The bustling resorts of Whitby and Saltburn are within a 16.5 mile radius and make for a lovely day out exploring, or why not take a boat trip or indulge in some water sports? Golfers have a choice of four popular courses and there are fresh water and sea fishing opportunities galore. Enter this lovely cottage from steps off the quiet village street and into the large open plan lounge/diner, with a reading area by the front window to one side and a large dining area to enjoy your evening meal. Within the lounge area, you will find a cosy wood burner which creates a cosy ambience after a busy day walking on the moors. The kitchen flows nicely from the lounge through a stable style door and has a breakfast table and a neatly arranged, well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. The open staircase leads from the lounge area up to the three bedrooms all leading from the landing (please note, the landing is also open plan and care must be taken with children). There is one large double bedroom and two single bedrooms. There is also a shower room with a shower and WC on this floor. The pretty private, walled courtyard is just outside of the kitchen definitely a sun trap to take advantage of for morning coffees or evening snacks and wine. If you have bikes or canoes for your trip, there is a cellar where you can securely store them this is to be arranged with the owner before arrival. There is roadside parking available at the property (subject to availability), with additional parking available at the village hall.
