Visit Bangor on Dee (4.5 miles) which is famed for its racecourse, or take a trip on the horse drawn canal boat in Llangollen. Visit National Trust properties Chirk Castle (8.7 miles) and Erddig (8.5 miles), Ellesmere Lake (5.5 miles) and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (9.6 miles) to name but a few attractions.
