Perfectly placed just a short drive takes you into the vibrant market town of Launceston, known as being the ancient capital of Cornwall and offering a range of shops and pubs as well as a castle and steam railway to enjoy. Alternatively head towards the North Coast and you will discover the area is populated with a great selection of must see destinations including the fishing villages of Boscastle and Tintagel, both within a 20 mile drive; or the South Coast where pretty Looe (23 miles) and Polperro (28 miles) are well worth a visit.
