This lovely stone cottage is situated in a hamlet amid the South Cornwall countryside, however its rural location is not too far removed from local attractions and the Eden Project along with the National Trust's Lanhydrock are both a short drive away. The popular harbour town of Fowey is 8 miles away with its shops and restaurants. Dotted along the Fowey estuary are several sandy beaches which make great places to swim, sunbathe and explore the rockpools, some of which have swimming platforms and tidal paddling pools. With easy access to both coasts this provides the perfect base for families. Attractions include cycling at Cardinham, National Lobster Hatchery, Newquay Zoo and 18 hole golf course in Bodmin. This property is one of three detached holiday homes in a complex at this rural location and offers the perfect place for a relaxing break. Approach the property via a short flight of three external steps and enter straight into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is and relaxing with comfortable seating arranged around the cosy wood burner (for which a starter basket of logs is provided). Guests will also find the Smart TV/DVD and hi fi here. The fitted kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals including a range style electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, whilst there is a separate utility room housing the washer/dryer and an extra sink. The two bedrooms are cosy and comfy; the first a king size with en suite shower and WC and its own TV and the second a twin with 2'6" beds, which may be made up as a second king on request, thanks to the zip and link beds. The bathroom has a bath as well as a separate shower cubicle and WC. Outside the property there is an enclosed garden with a raised patio area along with a sun room for those cooler days. It is the ideal place to sit out and enjoy the sunshine, thanks to its garden furniture and BBQ. There is off road parking provided for 2 cars.
