Guests will enjoy watching the horses that are kept close by in the adjacent stables and meadow. A foot/bridle path runs directly from the cottage driveway offering a chance to explore the surrounding countryside and see various wildlife along the way. Access to the local tramway, which is ideal for cycling, is close by. From the trail you can reach the sandy beach at Portreath or follow it the opposite direction to meet the coast at Devoran (cycle hire can be arranged with the owners). The sandy bays of Portreath and Porthtowan with their provisions are around 2 miles away from the accommodation. This north coastal area offers excellent surfing and attractions to suit all ages including the ruins of mine buildings around St Agnes and Cligga Point, Newquay, Godrevy, the Cornish Cider Farm, Newquay Zoo and Aquarium, Flambards Theme Park and a reasonable drive to the Lizard and Land s End peninsulas. One entering the accommodation, you will soon find the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With its welcoming wood burner to unwind in front of on the cooler evening. There is ample comfortable furniture to relax on after full day of touring the delights of the West Country. Catch up on your favourite show on the TV/DVD with Freeview. The kitchen are comes equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a table for four diners. Close by there are the bedrooms, of which there s two. The first of which is a double with TV/DVD, en suite shower and WC. The twin bedroom also comes with its own TV/DVD. The en suite contains a walk in shower and WC. Step outside the property and you will find a choice of two patios bordered by a low stone wall. There s also a fenced lawn area for kids to play games on. If required, there is additional external storage for bikes and surf boards. There is also ample allocated parking for x cars directly outside the cottage. Please note that there is a fee applied for central heating usage between November and March (please enquire). Two dogs are welcome to accompany guests too.
