Glebe Barn is located in the village of Ruan Lanihorne, on The Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated in a tranquil setting, it is within easy reach of many beautiful beaches and walks such as St Mawes (9 miles), Portloe (5 miles) and Portscatho with its famous Hidden Hut (5.5 miles) as well as wonderful routes along Ruan Creek and a well known Da Bara Cafe. Ruan Creek is a wonderful nature reserve with a wealth of wildlife, you can try and spot rare migrating birds and barn owls. The owners live on site and the properties have been in the family for fifty years. Why not visit other attractions such as Trelissick Gardens (8 miles via ferry), the Eden Project (15 miles) or visit Truro city (10 miles) for some shopping and to take a look around the beautiful cathedral. Enter the cottage via the conservatory and past the sunny seating area, an ideal spot to get stuck into a good book or drink your morning coffee. Through the front door you will find yourself in a large entrance hall with the kitchen leading off to the right. It offers plenty of worktop space and has a large kitchen table where you can enjoy home cooked meals with your loved ones. The kitchen features a stunning Rayburn cooker as well as an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and coffee machine. There is also a useful utility room off the kitchen which gives plenty of storage for welly boots, and buckets and spades, as well as featuring a microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Moving back out to the entrance hall, there is a downstairs WC. The lounge is across the hall and boasts French doors with fabulous views out over the creek; this really is the perfect spot to sit and relax. There is a wood burner and Smart TV and sonos speaker in this room so you can all snuggle up in the evening and watch a good film. A small table and chairs in the corner is perfect for evening card games. Up the stairs is a modern family shower room with a shower and WC followed by a generous super king size room (which can be made up as a twin on request) and plenty of storage space. Next door is a cosy single bedroom followed by the master bedroom with a king size bed and dual aspect window, so you can wake up to views of the creek and beyond. Heading outside, you ll find a large, enclosed courtyard patio with garden furniture, BBQ, fire pit and a seperate large enclosed lawn area to the rear with direct access down to the creek (please note this area is not enclosed). There is private parking space for two cars.
