Nestled a short 5 minute drive or a beautiful 25 minute walk (after the first 200m on the main road) from the picturesque coastline of Cornwall, on the outskirts of the popular town of Padstow, rests this remarkable holiday home, Woodlands Close. Boasting a marvellous contemporary interior and comfortably sleeping ten, Woodlands Close is an idyllic base for your next group celebration to this delightful part of the country. Ample off-road parking greets you upon arrival, leading you along the pathway and over the threshold, into a light and airy open-plan living space, beautifully-appointed with wooden flooring and a rustic woodburning stove, complimented by the stylish design of the contemporary kitchen. Share a bottle of wine with the chef at the breakfast bar as they rustle up some tasty treats, gathering your loved ones around the grand dining table to serve, or if you're lucky enough to experience the warmer weather, step outside to the patio where you can indulge in a spot of alfresco dining with far reaching views across the surrounding farmland. Settle in for the evening with a seat on the sumptuous sofas in the separate living room for a movie marathon, enveloping the room with the warmth of the woodburning stove, or split up and enjoy a spot of television with the girls in the open-plan sociable space. Prepare for bed with an invigorating rinse in the spacious walk-in shower, conveniently located on the ground-floor, ideal for guests with limited mobility, before resting your head in either of the two neighbouring bedrooms, with the choice between a snug twin (converted on advance request to a superking), or a charming double, benefiting from it's own en-suite. Climb the stairs where you'll find two additional bedrooms, a beautifully-presented double along with a fabulous superking master suite, boasting a contemporary en-suite bathroom and stylish walk-in wardrobe as well as access to a private terrace, where you can enjoy an intimate escape with your significant other under the canopy of the stars before bed. Spend the evenings relaxing in the beautiful hot tub, enjoying views of the rolling hills and distance sea views. Completing the property is a handy utility room, fit with a washing machine and tumble dryer to assist in refreshing your wardrobe after a day full of adventure. Note: Woodlands Close can also be booked with Prysken (1080136), a detached holiday lodge within its grounds - together they would accommodate 12 adults. Prysken can not currently be booked independently by other groups - however, if not taken with Woodlands please be advised that it may be occupied by owner’s family for the purposes of maintenance. In this event the garden remains exclusively for the use of Woodlands Close guests. Woodlands Close and Prysken can also be booked with Gwedhen (1080137) giving a potential maximum of 14 guests. Gwedhen may be booked separately by other guests, having its own separate area of garden and decking. Taking all three properties ensures exclusive use of the entire property for those desiring complete privacy for larger groups. We are pleased to offer a 50 percent discount on the Gwedhen price (subject to availability) for any party taking all three properties (offer must be requested within 7 days of the original Woodlands Close booking).
