Porteath Barn is a truly unique property. Secluded, extensive gardens and lakes, moments from the coastal path and a typically deserted beach, yet less than 5 minutes from Polzeath. The house and gardens are totally unoverlooked and comfortably accommodate 14, with an internal area of 300m2 and grounds of 5 acres.
The property is surrounded by sheep grazing farm land on 3 sides and National Trust coast land at the far end of the garden. The sea can be reached in 5 minutes on foot via a footpath leading directly from the garden to the coastal path. Epphaven beach is the nearest point, a beautiful cove which can only be reach by foot (or boat!)
Porteath Barn is a full equipped, large family home. The house has very recently been totally refurbished and newly furnished throughout, including solid oak flooring throughout ground and first floors.
Guests are welcome to wander throughout the very extensive gardens, with numerous seating points and sea view.

Nearby coastal towns include Polzeath (1.8 miles), Rock (3.4 miles), Port Isaac (5.2 miles) and Padstow (5 mins from Rock via passenger ferry).
Polzeath and Rock offer an exceptional range of water sports and boating facilities. There are numerous golf courses very close by, including The Point and St Enodoc.
The nearest train station is Bodmin Parkway, 16.3 miles away. Western Greyhound run a daily local bus service between Camelford and Wadebridge, which will stop on request exactly at the turning for Porteath Barn.
