Our apartment is good for couples and solo travellers. Attached to our house, this is a small but very comfortable and modern space, with private entrance and patio garden. We are situated in a village within the Tamar Valley which is on the border between Devon and Cornwall. You have easy access to all areas of the Southwest, and particularly the parks of Dartmoor and Bodmin, the city of Plymouth and the market town of Tavistock. It is a great area to explore or just to relax.
PS: Please note that there are a few narrow roads leading to our village. A small car is recommended, especially if you are not used to rural lanes!!
Lower Metherell is a friendly little village with a 15th Century country pub just 3 mins walk away from our home. Other pubs, a village shop and medieval church are nearby in Harrowbarrow and St Dominick.
If you fancy leaving the car behind the Tamar Valley railway line is a scenic route between Plymouth and Gunnislake, (less then 3 miles from our home). There are also local buses operating between the various villages to Tavistock.
Located in Callington, this apartment is in a rural area. Cotehele House and Gardens and Dupath Well are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Tamar Valley and Dartmoor National Park. Port Eliot House and Gardens and Launceston Steam Railway are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
