Nestled between the ancient Engine house and contemporary Chestnut clad Beach House is Number One Penventon a small bungalow built around 1980. Being so close to the beach, the current owners have kept a simple beach hut style of décor, an eclectic mix of contemporary, shabby chic and nautical, with wooden floors throughout . It is Ideal for families, for days on the beach and wonderful walks along the South West Coast path. Inside, the property feels larger than it appears from the exterior as there is an annexe which can be used as a quiet area. It has a shower, separate toilet and utility room in it, also a sofa bed. There is a private parking and garden. The rest of Cornwall with its fabulous beaches, gardens and entertainment venues are easily accessible from Porthtowan. But, but you may just want to stay put once you are there.
Located in Truro, this vacation home is on the beach. East Pool Mine and Gwennap Pit are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Wheal Coates Tin Mine and Truro Cathedral. West Cornwall Adventure and Enys Gardens are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
