Tynedale, is a wonderful family house sleeping seven people in four bedrooms with two bathrooms and a downstairs loo. It is centrally located in the friendly North Cornwall village of St Teath. It is the perfect base for exploring. It is ten minutes from the glorious North Cornwall coast for walking, surfing and beaches. It is close to the charming seaside towns of Port Isaac (of Doc Martin fame), Rock, the foodies’ delight of Padstow, Polzeath and Widemouth Bay for surfing, the wild scenery of Arthurian Tintagel, the South West Coast Path, Poldark country, Rosamund Pilcher trail and many other picturesque and historic sites.
The area abounds with good restaurants and friendly pubs, it is within easy reach of the Eden Project (45 minutes) and many of the other attractions, both natural and man-made that Cornwall has to offer. The bustling small town of Wadebridge is twenty minutes away, with its three supermarkets, interesting independent shops and the glorious Camel Trail for cycling.
The cottage has two cosy living rooms, each with a log burner. The four comfortable bedrooms and spacious and well-equipped kitchen/ diner make it ideal for multi generation living or just chilling out. There’s high speed fibre broadband and a smart TV inside, and outside, a secluded patio with BBQ for eating and entertaining plus a charming low-mainenance front garden from which to sit and watch the world go by.
St.Teath is a thriving village year round which welcomes its visitors. With an historic 14th century church at its centre and a dog/family friendly pub serving excellent good value meals, all within 200 yards of the front door. The village cafe also serves delicious breakfasts, lunches and teas. The area is a pooch’s paradise and we welcome up to two well behaved dogs. There is a footpath running alongside the house and over styles to fields for dog walking (please be aware of livestock).
Located in Bodmin, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. Bowood Park Golf Course and Tintagel Visitors Centre are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and St Nectan's Glen.
