Sitting in the Eskdale Valley, fill your days with walks, adventures and exhilarating activities. Passing close to your door, hop on the Eskdale Trail for a walk or board the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway from Dalegarth Station (less than half a mile) for a family friendly day out. Journey to Ravenglass to see the sea (7.5 miles) before returning and enjoying a delicious meal in Boot. Just 1.5 miles away in Boot, the West Lakes Adventure Centre is a great place to send guests with an appetite for adrenaline pumping activities with ghyll scrambling, climbing and kayaking just a few of the things on offer. From the hallway, make your way into the spacious kitchen where you can pop the kettle on. Find a dishwasher, an electric range cooker, microwave, and a large fridge to help you when preparing and clearing up after meals. A washing machine, tumble dryer, a second fridge and separate upright freezer can be found in the room under the stairs. Enjoy tea and snacks at the breakfast table in the kitchen, or for more formal dinners in the dining room where there is plenty of space to dine together. From the kitchen, step through to the conservatory area where you can sit and admire the fell views and throw open the doors to let the outside in. After dinner, relax together in the lounge with TV/DVD great for film nights and chilled afternoons. The open fire promises to keep you cosy. Two of seven bedrooms can be found on the ground floor: a handy family room with a double and single bed, and a room with bunk beds more suited to younger guests. A family bathroom with shower over bath and WC also resides on this floor. Heading to the first floor, find five more bedrooms and a pair of bathrooms. Three double bedrooms are lovely spots in which to drift off, as is the twin room and the second family room with one double and one single beds . These bedrooms share a shower room with WC and further bathroom with WC. The south facing, enclosed garden is a great spot in which to enjoy your morning cup of tea or coffee. If you take a tipple outside in the evening, enjoy knocking a ball around on the table tennis table, or head to the games barn to avoid the rain and stay entertained. In one of the side gardens is a small pond and in the orchard is a pond which you are welcome to wander. Rafts are provided so fun can be had but please supervise children in both areas. There is parking for five cars.
