This beautifully styled pod is situated on a working sheep farm surrounded by the Northern Fells and has stunning views towards Blencathra. The village of Threlkeld is just over a mile away with some lovely country pubs, a cricket pavilion and a golf course. The market town of Keswick is just 4 miles away, The Mountain Festival, which is usually held in May or June, offers three days of world class sports, outdoor activities, talks, and films with live music. The shore path at Bassenthwaite runs the length of the West shore, there is an open air theatre which is worth a visit. The Lakes Distillery is just 12 miles away, why not book a tour or tasting session or visit the resident Alpacas. Entering the pod, you will find a spacious bright open plan living area with sofa and Smart TV, which will allow you to log into your Netflix account and enjoy a good film. There is a double bed with views out over the fells and a kitchen area with a two ring gas hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment, it offers everything you need to rustle up breakfast and a quick bite. Finally, there is a bathroom which has a shower and WC. The pod has a nice private feel, with a dry stone wall and planting, private parking space for one car and a lovely covered decking to the front entrance with seating.
