This cute pod is situated on a working sheep farm, surrounded by stunning picture postcard countryside and fells. Springtime is a special time of year to visit when the lambs are a joy to watch! Threlkeld village, with its country pubs, cricket pavilion and golf course, is just 1 mile away. Keswick is 4 miles away, with a good selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafes; it is possible to use the old railway line to walk into the town. Annually, usually in May or June, Keswick holds the Mountain Festival, which is a three day event with world class sports, outdoor activities, talks and films with live music. Derwentwater is just 12 miles away and offers some great water sport activities, or, if you prefer a more relaxing day out, visit one of the local distilleries. The kitchen is compact but well thought out, with a two ring gas hob, microwave, toaster, and fridge with freezer compartment. The pod has planting outside and a private decking area to the entrance with seating, private hot tub and expansive views. Private parking for one car is available.
