Making this a fantastic base to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted with Coniston Water, perfect for sailing, canoeing or enjoy a leisure cruise on the wonderful steam yacht 'Gondola . The lake also offers excellent fishing opportunities for trout, char, pike and perch. Walkers, mountain bikers and hikers are also very well catered for with the nearby famous Old Man of Coniston and the fabulous woodland trails at Grizedale Forest to explore. Entering the lodge up a small flight of stairs from the outside decked area, you are met with the light and bright open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has a TV, wood burner effect electric fire perfect for cosy nights, French doors leading out to the decked small enclosed balcony, floor to ceiling windows and side door access leading out to the peaceful private park. The kitchen is very well equipped perfect for those who would like to cook up a storm, with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave with dining table and chairs that can seat 4 people. Leading through from the kitchen area you are met with the pretty cosy double bedroom with plenty of storage space. From the double bedroom you will find the stylish en suite shower and WC. Venturing outside you will find the decked area with table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining or to enjoy a glass of wine or a good local ale. Set amid the beautiful family run park grounds, just a short stroll from the splendid Coniston Water. Off road parking for one car, located at the side of the lodge.
