The pretty village of Bouth lies just four miles to the west of the stunning Lake Windermere, at the southern end of the Rusland Valley. Popular with visitors for its peaceful setting among low fells, it is away from the busy crowds, offering pretty local walks and cycle rides where you can explore the country lanes and visit the deer park. To the south you will find the Cartmel Peninsula and the picturesque village of Cartmel, home to the Cartmel Races and which offers a generous choice of restaurants and pubs. There are plenty of fantastic walks to be enjoyed, destinations include High Dam, Morecambe Bay, Place Fell and Grizedale Forest. On entering this delightful cottage you will find yourself in a welcoming and attractively furnished lounge, with plenty of comfortable seating, a traditional wood burner and Smart TV. A step leads up to the charming dining room, which in turn opens out onto the enclosed sunny garden. Moving into the kitchen, you will find it is amply equipped for preparing either just a light lunch, or sumptuous candle lit dinner. Here you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and coffee cafetiere. Heading upstairs you will find two comfy bedrooms. The master double has a king size bed, and the single is comfortable, and is suitable both for a child or a third adult. The bathroom features a spa bath, where you can lie back and relax tired muscles after a day on the fell. There is also a separate shower cubicle and WC. Outside, you can relax or dine alfresco in the delightful garden.
