Situated just outside the village of Kirkoswald (1.5 miles), this holiday home is in the beautiful Eden Valley with stunning views and fantastic walking routes from the doorstep. The village itself has a church that dates back to the 12th century with unique features such as a bell tower and a sacred spring under the nave. There is a village shop and a couple of pubs here too. The Eden Valley gets its name from the River Eden which runs between the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (5 miles) and the Lake District National Park (13 miles). Head to Ullswater (20 miles) for a picnic or to enjoy some boating or fishing. Visit market town, Penrith (9 miles) for shops, restaurants, pubs and bars. Enter this delightful, reverse level barn conversion into the hallway. The two tastefully furnished and decorated bedrooms are situated here, both feature exposed stone walls, adding lots of character to the rooms. One of the bedrooms is a double with plenty of storage and a dressing table, while the single room has a spacious under stairs cupboard. Both bedrooms boast remarkable countryside views. To the front of the property is a pretty courtyard with planters and mature shrubs. There is a BBQ and picnic table for dining alfresco. Round to the side and rear is a huge communal garden. Further seating, beautiful borders, a wooden gazebo and a butterfly garden, make up this fantastic space. Parking is available in the old farmyard as you pull into the complex and the nearest pub, shop and other amenities are 1.5 miles from here.
