The log cabin is set in an idyllic woodland surrounding which is situated between Ambleside and Skelwith Bridge, with a variety of local pubs, restaurants, cafes and numerous shops for you to explore. Nearby you also have a vast choice of walking and cycling routes and fishing opportunities to choose from, making this area a haven for nature lovers and those who like to explore on foot. The popular Langdale Pikes are only a short drive away, and Windermere and Bowness are also close by with plenty to see and do including water sports. Descend the steps to the lodge where you enter through the front door, into the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine, the perfect spot to prepare a family meal. The dining area is positioned between the kitchen and the lounge where you can enjoy the resulting meal together. Heading on to the lounge area, you have a relaxing leather sofa to relax on with a Smart TV/DVD with Netflix and Xbox One, and a coal effect electric fire. From the lounge area you will find the shower room with shower and WC, and from here you can also lead onto the spacious double bedroom with patio doors and views into the woods. The single bedroom, also accessed from the lounge, is spacious and looks towards the woodland area. Outside of the lodge is a terrace area with seating and woodland views, a great spot for al fresco dining. You can also take advantage of the on site facilities including a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, there is also a shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is allocated parking for two cars, and several steps from here down to the lodge.
